Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it at church, but such a small amount when you go shopping?
Or how endless an hour seems when we are serving God, but how short it seems when we watch an hour on TV?
Or when it comes to praying the words come so slowly but how quickly they flow to gossip?
Or how long it takes to read a few verses in the Bible and how quickly you can read a good novel?
Or how everyone wants front row seats at a concert or game but always take the last row of the pews in church?
Or that we need to know about an event going on at church 2 or 3 weeks in advance to plan to attend but, can change any plans in minutes if something really good comes along to go do?
Or how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others, but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?
Or how we believe everything that magazines and news papers say, but we question the words in the Bible?
Or how everyone wants a place in heaven, but they don't want to believe, do or say anything to get there?
Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails right away, but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about it twice before we share it with others?
Strange isn't it?
